What Is Siftite?
Siftite is a mod-added material used to upgrade Netherite equipment in Mielon's The Sift. It is not currently established as a vanilla Minecraft Java or Bedrock material.
How to Make Siftite Armor and Tools
The mod author documents a Smithing Table upgrade using three inputs:
Netherite equipment + Siftite Ingot + Siftite Upgrade Smithing Template
The same upgrade system applies to Siftite gear such as armor and tools. Use the corresponding Netherite item as the base.
The author's project description lists Siftite Ore and rare Siftite Nuggets, but does not fully document the entire ingot-crafting chain there. If your installed version shows a recipe in-game, use that version-specific recipe rather than relying on an older guide.
Where to Get the Siftite Upgrade Smithing Template
Mielon says abandoned portal structures can generate across many Sift biomes. Their loot has a 40% chance to contain a Siftite Upgrade Smithing Template.
That percentage is the author's stated structure-loot chance. It does not mean every second or third portal will contain one, and it is not a vanilla Minecraft loot table.

Important: “fire resistant equipment” does not mean the player automatically gains full fire immunity. The author's wording refers to the equipment.

Weapons & tools
Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Hoe, and Spear.
Full armor set
The mod includes a complete Siftite armor set upgraded from Netherite equipment.
How Mini Rift Recovery Works
Siftite equipment is protected from normal inventory loss on death. After you respawn, the mod creates a Mini Rift beside your player that returns the lost Siftite items.
If your inventory is full, the author says the remaining Siftite items orbit the player until inventory space becomes available.
